One Month!!

Today, Rebecca is officially one month old!  Though she was 4 weeks old last Wednesday, I figure it's easier to count from the 29th to the 29th, so there you go.

We went to the pediatrician yesterday for her 1 month checkup and everything was fine.  Even though she is gaining weight like a champ (clearly, she takes after mommy in that department), she is still on the small side and weighed 7 lbs. 15 oz. yesterday.  She got one of her vaccines and cried for only a few seconds and then went to sleep.  We were so proud of her excellent behavior!

We have learned a lot in the last month.  We are still totally confused about the feeding issue, but feel much more confident in skills like diapering and burping!  We have also finally gotten into a schedule that works pretty well for all of us.  We are just waiting (and secretly pleading with a 1 month old) for her to sleep longer stretches at night.  Wish us luck!!
