Party!

We had Rebecca's First Birthday Party a few days early last Saturday.  It was a small group - just family and a couple of friends, but we had such a good time.  Rebecca did really well - no fussiness.  She enjoyed her presents, had a couple of bites of hot dog for the first time, and of course, she seemed to LOVE her cake!

Here are a bunch of pictures.  Unfortunately the videos were too big to post, and I don't know how to do it any other way.  If you're ever over at our house or my parents, you can see them!

Remember these old school phone pull toys?  They still make them - even though phones don't even look like that anymore.  She giggles every time she plays with it!

The Cake!!  As you can see, I made a little Minnie Mouse cake for her to eat.  She looked pretty puzzled by the whole thing until Daddy gave her a little piece to eat.  After that, she had a great time!  There was even chocolate frosting in her arm pits!!  She definitely seemed to fall right in the generational line behind Grandma and Mommy and their love of chocolate!
