Gymboree, Take 2

I took Rebecca back to Gymboree last weekend.  If you recall, I started taking her when she was about 10 weeks old and the last few times ended in major meltdowns, so I stopped going.  It was time to try again though, now that she's a little older.  Not only does she need the activity and change of scenery, but she really needs to be around other kids.  She had a blast!

She was a little tentative for about 2 minutes and then she took off and acted like she owned the place.  She played with balls and explored all the equipment and interacted with the other kids.  And as an added bonus, she didn't bite, pinch or hit anyone, so that was good!

This week she has also been walking a lot.  She's really enjoying being outside walking where she has more room to explore.  She also had a fantastic time roaming the aisles of the grocery store!  Mike and I had to run in real quick and grab something.  It was lunch time on a weekday, so I figured we could let her walk around a little.  We sort of just followed her around.  She was SO excited - I think I even heard her squeal a couple of times!  She was touching everything and looking at all the colors.

Developmentally, she has mastered the ring stacking thing, so that's pretty exciting.  She is also drinking cow's milk and eating lots of different veggies.  This past week she ate butternut squash chunks, red bell pepper chunks, lima beans and mango and seemed to love all of them.

Here are some fun pics from the week:

The next few are all at Gymboree:
