First Flight

No, I'm not talking about the Wright Brothers...I'm talking about Rebecca!  She had her first flight on December 22nd and her 2nd flight on the 26th from Los Angeles to Dallas to visit my brother, sister in law and my niece and nephew.

She did SO well!  I talked to some friends who'd been through it before (thanks Teresa and Amanda) and was as prepared as I could be.  I had plenty of snacks, entertainment and changes of clothes.  On the way out, I gave her a bottle during take off to help with her ears and she fell asleep for the first 30 minutes or so.  After that, there were moments where she was antsy, but no screaming or carrying on or anything like that.  She read books, watched Mickey Mouse on my ipad and just looked around a bit.  Before we knew it, we were in Dallas!

I will post pictures of our trip soon, but here are some pictures of the flights and the airport.

Watching shows
This one is my favorite - chillin' with her headphones on, watching Mickey and eating a snack!
