Hot, Hot, Hot!

Most of you know we had some very high heat in CA last week.  Luckily, I missed most of it when I was travelling for work.  Rebecca spent a few days at Grandma and Grandpa's house and I heard she had a ton of fun playing outside and running around all the extra space. 

When I got back into town, I spent some time with her and my mom in the yard playing in the hose.  Here are some pics:

 

 

We still aren't getting too much speech out of her...well, not in English anyway.  She has been very chatty the past couple of days, but in a language we do not understand!! 

One cute story from yesterday.  We were in our usual Gymboree class and there was a new little girl there.  She looked to be a few months younger than Rebecca.  I'm not sure when it happened, but all of a sudden, we look over and they are hugging each other!  And then they wouldn't stop.  They would run to a different area and play but as soon as they caught sight of one another, they'd hug again.  It was SO cute!  I have never seen Rebecca interact with another baby that way.  I wish I had a picture!
