Santa!

We went to see Santa today!  Success!  This is the first year where she actually smiled.  She got a little nervous at first, but she ended up smiling.  And she did grant us the privilege of seeing her in a dress (but she made it clear that she wanted to take it off as SOON as she was done visiting with Santa)!

And now...for a stroll down memory lane...

 She is getting excited for Christmas.  Well, let me rephrase that.  She's getting excited for presents!  She has quite a list going.  Pretty much every time she sees some new toy on TV she'll say "I don't have that...let's add it to my list".  I'm trying to make sure she understands that Santa doesn't bring her everything on her list!

This morning we were talking about going to see Santa after school.  Here was the conversation:

Me:  Are you excited to see Santa later?
Rebecca:  I want to go to see the snow first.
Me:  There's no snow.
Rebecca:  But mommy, Santa lives in the north pole and it's snowy there

She is SO smart!
