Like Mother, Like Daughter

This bib is the first thing I bought when I found out I was having a girl:

I couldn't help it!  It seemed so appropriate!  What else would MY daughter have to say?  Of course, it's ALL about dessert!!  She also gets VERY excited when it's time to eat.  When I start to put the bib on her, she starts kicking her legs like crazy.  It's pretty funny!

My mom saved some of my baby clothes, including the dress I'm wearing in this picture:

This would have been July of 1973.  I was 6 weeks old.  Cute, huh?  You can't really see the dress, but it's this little pink lace dress with matching panties.  I pulled it out of my hope chest today to see if it fit Rebecca.  It smells a little funky and is extremely itchy, but I tried it on her.  Here are the results:

I don't know yet what other characteristics she will get from me, but hopefully it's much more than my love of a good snack!!
