Here is the best 14 month picture we could get of her!
She is walking really well now and starting to try running.
She LOVES stacking things...blocks, empty boxes, food - whatever. She is actually pretty good at it and it's fun to watch her little wheels turning when something doesn't work. Knowing that her brain is doing some problem solving as she experiments with different things.
She also loves books. She loves to read them, to have us read them to her, and she loves to eat them. We have many, many, many board books with chew marks and even a hole or two through the middle. She also brings us books over and over again for us to read them to her. We have also seen her sit down and just flip pages as if she's really reading. I hope she keeps up with the love of books!
She high-fived us for the first time a few days ago.
Another funny thing happened last night. We were relaxing in the evening and she started spinning around in circles. It was getting kind of scary because she was being so silly and falling and we were nervous she was going to crash right into furniture.
She has become really interested in putting things into buckets, bags and boxes. A few days ago she had a paper grocery bag with handles and put a couple books, some blocks and other toys into it and then dragged it around.
Her temper continues to be a little...shall we say...feisty. She gets VERY upset if we take something away from her. She scream and cries and carries on. She has cried far less when getting her shots or getting her blood drawn. I am super nervous for the terrible twos!!
I will post some pictures of Halloween in the next couple of days, but last weekend we went to a pumpkin patch with my mom and dad. Here are a few pictures:
