Blurry Fun

I stopped by the park on my way home from picking Rebecca up at school the other day.  She played on the slides and in the sand box for a while, but then something amazing caught her eye.  These huge trees had finally dropped their leaves, so it looked like an Autumn wonderland (at least, according to California standards).  So, we had fun throwing leaves at each other and making piles and jumping in them.  It was super fun!

Speaking of parks, we had a family picnic a couple of weekends ago.  She loves playing at the park.  We are lucky to have amazing parks in our city.

She loves walking along these walls!  She made us do multiple laps!

We hit a big milestone this week.  She has graduated from high chair to a booster at the table.  We made a big deal out of what a Big Girl sort of thing that was and how she gets to sit at the table with us.  You can tell she's very proud of herself for it!

Grandma and Grandpa gave her an amazing kid sized shopping cart and some toy groceries for Christmas.  The last few days she's really been having fun with it.  She plays "delivery girl".  You tell her what you'd like to order and she brings it to you.  She's having so much fun.  My favorite thing is...I might say something like "I would like to order some orange juice, eggplant and peanut butter" and she'll turn to her shopping cart and say "Comin' right up"!  I have no idea where she got that but it is adorable!  Here she is with her cart:

She's been full of funny sayings lately...aside from "comin' right up".  My favorite was last night we were eating dinner (baked potatoes) and she starts clapping.  Then she says "I'm clapping for 'tatos".  This morning, she was eating a waffle and she did the same thing "I'm clapping for waffles".  I guess that means she approves!!
