#1 - A few days ago, she was in the tub and she said "I need my mermaid tail". So, she took her washcloth and stuck it up her...ummmm...backside and then started swishing her bum around in the bath like it was a tail.
Where on earth does she get this stuff from?
#2 - Her behavior has not been great lately. I'm not sure if it's typical 2 year old stuff or if she is particularly rotten! Plus, she's reverted back to babyhood and has been waking up 1-10 times per night for the past week and a half. So, we are exhausted which makes the bad behavior even worse!
So last night she was giving me trouble just getting her jammies on and here was the conversation:
Me: You are making me crazy...you're going to send mommy to the loonie bin!
Rebecca: Why you making me crazy?
Me: I'm not making YOU crazy, you're making ME crazy!
Rebecca: I is a crazy maker!
Yes. Yes she is!
#3 - One of her new favorite things is to dig in my purse. Or in Grandma's purse. This morning she found a piece of wrapped candy in there and wanted to eat it. I told her no, which caused an epic crying fit. I put it up on the kitchen table for safe keeping and told her she had 2 choices; 1) she could have it after school if her behavior was good or 2) mommy could eat the candy. She agreed that after school was the best option. A few minutes later, here's the conversation:
Rebecca: Mommy - I need you to do something.
Me: What do you need?
Rebecca: I need you to do something for me.
Me: What do you need me to do?
Rebecca: I need you to go over there, unwrap that candy and put it in my mouth!
Needless to say, when I disagreed we had Epic Crying Fit, the Sequel.
In other news, we went on a hike at a nature center not too far from our house on Sunday. And yes, any of these pics that turned out decently, I had to bribe her to sit still and look at the camera. Here are some pics:

Rebecca and Daddy hit the trail.

Obviously, a bribed shot. I think this one cost me 2 M&Ms.

There are markers along the trail pointing out different wildlife and plants. She loved hunting for the next marker and seemed really interested in them.
