Baby's First Lasagna!

Yes, you read that right.  Rebecca has been exploring her 1/4 Italian roots this week!  She had lasagna for the first time!  No, I don't mean my mom's yummy lasagna with meat sauce, I mean Gerber's version!  I wanted to try the next stage of foods to see if she could handle the chunkier texture.  There was one called Lasagna with Meat Sauce which just cracked me up.  I had to get it.  It smelled exactly like a can of Spaghetti-O's!  Which, I'm sure I loved as a kid but now doesn't smell that great.  But, she loved it!  Here are some pics of her enjoying her meal:

I got this cute little outfit from some old family friends at one of my showers.  I could hardly wait to put it on her.  If you can't see it, the shirt has little popsicles and then says "Pop Princess" on it.  Then there's the little matching skirt!  Rebecca enjoys picking up the top layer of tulle stuff and eating it! 

 Here's our little Pop Princess at the park last week.  This was the first time I encouraged her to crawl out onto the grass.  She didn't like the feel of it at first, but she came around.  Especially when she realized there were so many leaves and sticks and grass that she could snack on!  I had my work cut out for me trying to keep her from eating anything!

One of her favorite things to do right now is crawl around and play with the handle on this little chest of drawers.  It's the perfect height for her and I think she likes the sound.  This is a piece that my dad built for me many, many years ago.  See, Dad, years and years of enjoyment!
