Time flies! She has lots of new "tricks" lately.
- She is crawling around all over the place! Now, when I saw "crawl", don't picture her up on her knees like a standard crawl. She actually is mostly on her tummy, dragging the rest of her body with her arms - maybe using her toes to help her scoot along. My mom said that neither me or my brother every crawled in the traditional sense. We went straight from the sort of military scoot directly to walking. We'll see!
- Since she's crawling around so much, she gets herself in to all sorts of predicaments. Here, she managed to crawl into the bottom of her saucer, but then couldn't get out!
- She knows how to get herself into a sitting position from her tummy. She's still trying to figure out how to get herself back onto her tummy from sitting - and winds up toppling over backwards most of the time, but she's almost there!
- She is clapping!
- She loves animal noises!
- She is fascinated with my rings...diamonds are a girl's best friend, after all!
- She is still sleeping through the night - usually from about 8 pm to 6 am. We've only had one bad night in about 3 weeks since we started the sleep training. Yay!!
- She is eating some more grown-up foods. I've given her mashed potatoes, little tiny pieces of wheat bagel, mushy rice and a couple of other things. She loves the little baby puffs and manages to pick them up with her fingers and get them into her mouth about 60% of the time. She is also extremely fascinated with her baby spoon and when she sees me and Mike chewing on something.
- She is beautiful and sweet and on the go! She is smiling and laughing a lot and loves playing with us. And we love playing with her!
