Tiny Dancer

Rebecca went to her first ballet/tap class on Monday. It was the cutest thing in the world!!!  She even wore tights, leotard and skirt and was SO excited.  When we got to the park, I was getting her out of the car and I said "OK, punkin pie" and she said "Mommy, I'm not a punkin pie, I'm a dancer"!  SO CUTE!!!!

She did really well.  She followed the teacher (or at least tried) and participated the whole time.  On the way home she asked how many more classes there were.  I told her there were 7 more.  She said "I want to go to a hundred more."

Group routine

Costume change- time to tap!  It was cute because we couldn't hear what the teacher was saying since the parents have to stay outside the dance room. But before she sent them out to put on their tap shoes, you could tell she was giving them a lecture about not making a ruckus with their tap shoes!

And this is right after dance class was over.  She was pooped!

One last funny story.  When I picked her up from school yesterday, the teacher said "I have a concern".  Oh no...what did she do?  In the 3 year old room the kids go potty when they need to and the do not segregate boys and girls.  Well, apparently, Rebecca was in the bathroom yesterday and saw boys going pee pee standing up.  She thought it was a cool trick...so she tried it!  The teacher had to explain that girls sit down and boys stand up.   And now, the teacher is probably going to segregate them to go potty.  Perhaps they will refer to it as The Rebecca Rule.
