Screaming Baby For Sale!

Is anyone interested?

Our little precious angel has taken up a lovely new habit in the past couple of weeks.  She gets tired, fights a nap, and then screams (and I mean SCREAMS) until she falls asleep.  It is very difficult to console her.  The only thing that seems to help (sometimes) is standing up and bouncing with her (which could take a long time and kills my back) or maybe going in the swing.  Yesterday, for the 2nd week in a row, as soon as our Gymboree class starts, she starts screaming and I had to leave after 20 minutes or so.  It's so disruptive to the class and all the other babies, I just have to leave.  She is clearly too tired to participate.  I left the class yesterday in tears myself and ready to sell her to the gypsies!!

I blame it partly on my own sleep deprivation.  Throw in a little postpartum depression and it's a perfect storm for mother and daughter to get on each other's nerves!  Oh, and I'd also like to put some blame on those darn gardners who woke her up way too early from a nap yesterday! 

Since she was a week or so old, Mike and I have practically congratulated ourselves that she isn't much of a cryer.  I suppose she still isn't really, compared to a baby with colic or something, but this new trend is not going well.
