Big Girl Bottles, Thumb Sucker & Stoned

We've had a couple of milestones in the past couple of days!

First, she moved up to the big girl bottles!  Granted, they are only slightly more than half full, but still.  We still remember when we were feeding her out of these tiny little two ounce bottles when we first got home from the hospital!  I know she doesn't look very happy about the whole thing, but really, she loves her food!

Second, she found her thumb!  Maybe some parents would not be so happy about thumb sucking...but we are.  She loves her pacifier, but she can't seem to keep it in her mouth, so we are constantly picking it up and putting it back in for her.  Finding her thumb for this purpose seemed like a great idea, but she couldn't quite figure it out.  She'd get her fist in her mouth but couldn't get her thumb extended enough.  Then, a couple of days ago, I came across this scene after one of her naps:

Yay!!  All that day, she was sucking her hand and her thumb.  Then yesterday it's like she forgot all about it and we were back to the pacifier game.  Hopefully she'll find it again...and I don't care if I have to spend a fortune at the orthodontist in 10 or 11 years!!

She's doing great at holding her head up when she's on her tummy, too...see:

And lastly, it seems like every time she's being cute and smiling, I whip out my camera to take a picture, and I get this very "stoned" looking expression.  Mike thinks it's my camera, but I'm beginning to wonder what's in the formula!
