Gymboree

I took Rebecca to a Gymboree class on Tuesday just to try it out.  She seemed to enjoy the first few songs but as soon as I turned her over for tummy time, she was not feeling it!  She cried the rest of the class until the parachute came out!

Basically, the babies are laying on their blankets in a circle and there's a small parachute of all different colors that the moms pass around over their heads.  That way, all the different colors are swishing by their faces and there's a little song that goes with it.  Then the moms make the parachute go up and down over and over again.  She LOVED that.  She was totally mesmerized.

We are planning on going again today.  A couple of the other moms told me not to worry that she cried - that they get totally overwhelmed at first by all the colors and the other babies, etc.  Hopefully she'll enjoy it a little more today.
